Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains when charges from OMNIA VINCULA PTY LTD, trading as HomeAtlas, are refundable. It forms part of our Terms of Service; if the two ever disagree, the Terms apply. It is written in plain language, but plain language is not a legal promise, only the position stated here is.
The free trial
Sign-up starts a 7-day free trial. A payment method is required to start. If you cancel before the trial ends, your payment method is not charged and the paid features stop when the trial ends. If you do not cancel, the payment method is automatically charged for the first period at the end of the trial. You can cancel from your billing settings in the app, or through the Apple App Store or Google Play if you started the trial there.
Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period: you keep what you have already paid for until that period ends, and the subscription does not renew. Because access continues for the whole period and there is no mid-period cut-off, there is no partial or pro-rata refund for a partly-used period.
Annual plans
An annual subscription is a 12-month commitment, billed up-front for the year. The at-period-end rule above applies: cancelling stops the next renewal but does not refund the months remaining in the annual period you have already paid for.
Top-up credits
Top-up credit packs are consumable and are delivered when you buy them. Unused top-up credits last 12 months from purchase before they expire at the end of that period. Top-ups are not refundable once delivered, except where a non-excludable consumer guarantee applies.
Purchases through Apple or Google
If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, Apple or Google handle refunds under their own policies, not us. To request a refund, use:
- Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Google Play: the Play Store's request a refund flow.
We cannot refund an Apple or Google purchase on your behalf.
Your consumer guarantees
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. In Australia, you have rights under the Australian Consumer Law; in New Zealand, under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993; and in the United Kingdom, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Where the Service fails to meet a non-excludable consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy such as a repair, replacement, refund, or re-supply, and this policy does not limit that.
